The Inaugural Lecture for the academic year 2025-2026 will be delivered by Professor Lisa Herzog, from the University of Groningen. Her latest monograph isCitizen Knowledge. Markets, Experts, and the Infrastructure of Democracy. The current focus of her work are economic democracy and the philosophy of work. We will provide more details about the Inaugural Lecture and the reception to new students in due time.

Acto y Potencia, an academic philosophy journal aimed at undergraduate and master’s students.
The journal was created to bridge the gap between students and the professional practice of philosophy in academia. Its mission is to provide them with the opportunity to publish their own papers and present their own talks.
The journal recently opened the CFP for Volume No.1. Students who submit an article will be eligible for the Premio Sócrates in philosophy, which includes a 250€ prize.
